Models Own Haul

I already own a few nail polishes by Models Own and whilst I wanted more I thought it would also be good to try a few of their other products. As you may be aware, I had a Models Own Giveaway, this is what I bought at the same time as picking stuff out for you guys :)

Clockwise from top left -

Nail varnishes: Becca's Brown, Vintage Pink, Lilac Dream, Pastel Pink, Cherry Pie, Lime Green and Red Alert
Eye shadow: Brown & Gold sparkle, Emerald Green, Pale Jade, Bright Grass, Gold, Orangeade, Hot Red, Purple Sky and Bright Turquoise
Eye Pencils: Peacock Green and Neon Hot Pink

I love that Models Own give you discounts when buying multiples of 3 or 5 products! Also when the delivery took a long time to get to me they apologised and sent a complimentary nail polish - Pastel Pink! How lovely of them :)

So far I have enjoyed using; Cherry Pie nail varnish, Peacock Green eye pencil, Pale Jade and Emerald Green eyeshadows. Details of which to follow this weekend!! :D xoxo

Giveaway Winner

Once again, I have been lucky enough to win something! Big thanks go to Lady M - view her popular fashion blog here. I'm so grateful!

I've won an eye kit by Kitten Vixen. I want to share it with you because it is something slightly different and I haven't heard anyone raving about it...

I'm quite excited about this, for many reasons - most of which are on the above website - but again because I've not tried anything like this yet. I can't wait for it to arrive!

They use the below pictures on the website for the three different colours they have.

Bewitching Burghandy

Magnetic Moss

Naughty Girl Navy

Eye Pencil Collection

I haven't got much time today so I thought I'd show you my eye pencil collection. If there are any "must haves" missing that I should get please let me know :)

My collection

Top to bottom: Models Own - black, L'oreal - black, Rimmel - black, H&M - sparkly black, Pure - white

My favourite of these is the Rimmel and L'oreal pencils (hence why the Rimmel pencil is so small!!) they are so easy to work with.

Top to bottom: Gosh - 102 Lemongrass, Gosh - 103 Aqualife, Gosh - 008 Silver Screen, Gosh - Sparkling Coal

I love how bright these pencils are, they go on quite easily too.

Top to bottom: Urban Decay - Covet, Urban Decay - Zero, Urban Decay - Lust, Urban Decay - Eletric, Urban Decay - Lucky, Urban Decay - Zero, Urban Decay - Bourbon, Urban Decay - Zero, Urban Decay - Topside, Urban Decay - Zero, Urban Decay - Ransom

I really like how creamy these eye pencils are and how long they stay on for - pretty much all day!

Top to bottom: Barry M - black, Barry M - Shimmering Eye Crayon #8, Barry M Shimmering Eye Crayon #1

These shimmering pencils are great to use for a highlight or all over colour, they're quite subtle which I love. I haven't yet used the back pencil so I wouldn't know what that's like!

Top to bottom: Avon - In A Blink silver smoke, Avon - In A Blink steel smoke, Avon - In A Blink violet smoke, Avon - In A Blink green smoke, Avon - Chocolate, Avon - Surf, Avon - Metallic Bronzing, Avon - Arabian Glow Bronze, Avon - Arabian Glow Sunny

The smokey eye pencils are great because they are double ended and one side has eyeshadow in the lid to create the perfect smokey effect! The brown and blue pencils are so great to a striking effect - they're so pigmented! I love the bronze pencils too and they are perfect for my skin when I want to go for a natural but different look. I suppose I should buy a new Avon eye pencil as it seems I have quite a collection and love them all!

Models Own Haul

Today all my Models Own goodies arrived, woooo!! I used the free delivery service so was very glad when I found out they send their items first class.

I was also quite impressed with the packaging, a lovely black envelope with my order details inside.

All nail varnishes were neatly packed in twos, in little bubble wrap parcels.

This little black eye pencil came free, as this was my first order with Models Own. The pencil even has its own sharpener! Genius.

These nail polishes look just as fantastic in real life as they did on the website - I can't wait to try them out! The one that probably surprised me most was Deep Purple, I didn't know it was going to be a black/purple duo chrome, but I don't have any polishes like that so I'm really glad.

Have you had any pleasant surprises from Models Own products, or any other products for that matter?
Are there any nail polishes you can't wait to try for Autumn??
