Manic Wednesday Make Up

Well I am sorry I haven't had much time for blogging lately but my wedding is now just 8 and a half weeks away!!

Tonight I've done a quick FOTD, quite plain for some, but for others it might be a little bit dramatic, depends if you wear dark colours a lot...

I used:

FACE
No.7 Beautifully Matte Foundation in Almond (30)
No.7 Perfect Light Pressed Powder in Medium
YSL Touche Elcait Concealer
Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Bronzing Powder in Medium

EYES
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Front Cover Eyeshadow in Powder Puff (eyelid)
Front Cover Eyeshadow in Choc Ice (crease)
Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Eyeliner in Perversion
YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

LIPS
Rimmel Lipstick in Love (831)
Avon Everlast Ink in Twig

Here's a pic of my hair afterward when I felt like playing around and giving it some height! Normally I don't do much with my hair, as you have probably noticed!! hehe. Thanks for reading!! xoxo

Makeup for a Gig

Doing make up in a car is always good fun...to see whether you will end up getting lipstick all round your mouth or eyeliner in your eye! I was on my way straight from work to see the Foo Fighters a while back and I came across this photo the other day remembering that the make up I applied was done in the car on the way there!

I used:

FACE
No.7 Shine Free Primer
L'oreal True Match Foundation in (W3) Golden Beige
No.7 Perfect Light Loose Powder in Medium
Rimmel Blusher in Santa Rose

EYES

Urban Decay Primer Potion
Frontcover Twinkling Gold - inner eye
Frontcover Pale Gold - eyelid
Frontcover Silver Dollar - highlight
No.7 Exquisite Curl Mascara in Black
Rimmel Kohl Eye Pencil in Black

LIPS

No.7 Spring Edition Lipstick in Grace
Avon Extreme Glazewear Gloss in Sand Shine

How has your make up turned out when you've done it on the move?

Front Cover FOTD

It's been so long! I'm really sorry but moving is a lot of hassle, but it will all be worth it come 4th March!! So excited. But that does not stop me being excited about make up. I bought the Front Cover GO!GO!GO! eyeshadow palette. I very rarely use blue shades, but the blues in this are astounding. So shimmery and beautiful.

I used:

FACE

No.7 Shine Free Primer
No.7 Beautifully Matte Foundation in Almond
No.7 Perfect Light Loose Powder in Medium
New ID Concealer in Medium
New ID I-Glow in Ice Pop

EYES

Urban Decay Primer Potion
Front Cover eyeshadow in Azimuth - eyelid
Front Cover eyshadow in Moondust - outer corner
Front Cover eyeshadow in Silver Dollar - highlight
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Electric - lower waterline
Rimmel Kohl Eye Pencil in black - upper waterline
No.7 Exquisite Curl Mascara in black

LIPS

No.7 Spring Collection Lipstick in Grace
Avon Extreme Glazewear Gloss in Sandshine

There's a lot of prodcuts in that list, but I've missed make up so much! ALthough there's quite a few products I feel you just need a quick sweep of things the more you use, so it won't look piled on. So this probably only took 10 minutes. Normally I'm not sure that blue eyeshadow looks right on me - but I must admit - I love this!

Thanks for reading - hope you're glad to have me back xoxo

Christmas FOTD

Today I had lunch with the girlies, and was going straight to my mum's and sisters so wanted to do a makeup look before I went. I didn't have time to take the pictures until I got in - just now! So bare that in mind! Hopefully it still looks ok :)

I used:

FACE

L'oreal True Match Liquid Foundation in (W3) Golden Beige
No.7 Perfect Light Loose Powder in Medium
No.7 Cheek Tint in Maple Silk
Rimmel Blush in Santa Rose

EYES

Front Cover Sizzle/Freeze Palette in Magic Banana - eyelid
Front Cover Sizzle/Freeze Palette in Ginger Spice - crease and outer corner
Front Cover Sizzle/Freeze Palette in China Cup - highlight
L'oreal Telescopic Mascara in black
Rimmel Kohl Eye Pencil in black

LIPS

No.7 Stay Perfect Lipstick in Plum Rebellion
Gosh On Stage Cool Lip Jam in 102

I wanted something fun but not too dramatic - I think I achieved that. What kind of look would you do to be different but not dramatic?

More Christmas Treats

Hey again, are you all getting back to normal yet or still eating lots over the festive period? Today I'll show you the treats my partner got me in the sales :) I am one lucky lady!

Dave was looking online for a new laptop in the sales - he didn't really need one but he is always on the lookout for bargains! Two peas in a pod we are! So anyway, we saw little netbooks on the Argos website and decided to go and take a peek at them in store, they were so cute! Then we went to Boots and had a look at the gift sets which were all half price! I got Dave an FCUK travel bag which he will use for work (he's a personal trainer) and it included some body wash bits, then I got him a Ted Baker set as well because I know he likes the smell.

He got me a Front Cover eyeshadow set, which I may try out today, the colours are fab. The front of the box is also very clever - it changes from sizzling orange eyes to closed cool blue eyes. I will do a review at some point in the near future. I also got a Ruby & Millie brush set - I've never really had a decent set of brushes...and this featured a foundation, cheek, eye, eye definer and lip brush so great to get me started.

This picture shows just how small the netbook is, I'm very happy that it fits in my handbag :)

What are your xmas treats?
