I hadn't used my Saffron neon nail varnishes yet so I already knew that I wanted to test one out. My fiance chose this blue colour, out of pink, green, orange, yellow and purple. It took three coats to get the blue looking as bold as this otherwise it was quite sheer. I'm not sure it looks really neon either...hopefully when I test some of the others they will be a lot brighter!
I thought that the black art deco stamp would go well on top. In the picture I only did my thumbnail but have since done the rest - this was done on my lunch break at work :)
I'm tempted to put another one of the same design on but in white...any thoughts?

FOTD - Liquid Eyeliner in Mojito
I wanted a look where I could use my No.7 Glitter Eyeliner in Mojito. This is it!!
I used:
FACE
No.7 tinted moisturiser in medium
No.7 light pressed powder in medium
Rimmel blush in santa rose
EYES
Aromaleigh Creme eyeshadow in Carbon
Barry M Dazzle Dust in silver - eyelid
Gosh Effect Powder in steel - crease and outer corner
No.7 Liquid Glitter Eyeliner in Mojito
H&M Glitter eyeliner in black - lower waterline
No.7 Exceptional Definition mascara in black
LIPS
Fyrinnae Lip Lustre in flavor of the day
No.7 Lip gloss high shine in hint
It reminded me of the sea because the black cream eyeshadow base has given the silver a blue tint. What do you think?

My Liquid Eyeliner Collection
Recently I have purchased a few eyeliners from the No.7 Collection, 5 to be precise, which has led to doubling my collection so I thought I would list them on here in a brief mini review before I review them individually.
Left to Right: No.7 Stay Perfect in Gilt, Mojito and Sapphire, No.7 Amazing Eyes in Black, No.7 Smoky Eyeliner in Black, Natural Collection Eyeliner in Black, Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner in Black, 2Tru Eyeliner Dazzlers No.7, Gosh Extreme Art Eyeliner 11, The Body Shop Sparkle Eyeliner in Silver.
The staying power for Gosh - 11, No.7 - Gilt and No.7 Sapphire were better then the rest. When applied to my hand all the others washed off with water and hand sanitiser (not that you would use sanitiser on your eyes!!) The other three needed a bit of make up remover, and Gosh - 11 took a bit of a scrub to budge completely - not sure if this is good or not as I wouldn't feel particularly comfortable scrubbing my eye!
I love the shade of No.7 Mojito and it's not too bright so good if you are going for look that's not too overdone. Similar rules apply for The Body Shop silver eyeliner, although it sparkles a lot its not so much of a bright colour that could make it the leading feature of your make up.
What's in your eyeliner collection??

Sophie's Giveaway - My Prize
I won a £5 ASOS voucher from Sophie's blog giveaway, and with it I purchased a Models Own Slate Green nail polish. I was so excited about this, I had no idea ASOS did Models Own. Shame I opted for the 6 day super saver free delivery. Although it did only take a week to arrive, and we had a bank holiday in between, so not bad at all.
I fell in love with this colour the moment I saw it. And even more so once I had it on. I applied two coats, as it is quite a sheer colour. I applied a matte top coat and it looks like this:
Unfortunately, I added the Art Deco stamps on my lunch break today, but forgot to take a top coat to work with me, so they have rubbed off slightly, I'm sure you can tell.
I will be re-doing them at some point, perhaps tomorrow lunch time - but I will remember the top coat.
Tonight I am off out to Frankie & Benny's for dinner with my girlfriends!! Have a good evening everyone.

FOTE
I've named this post Face of the Evening as I didn't apply my make up until about 8pm last night, before going out. Here are some piccies for you. I didn't take any with a post in mind, but some of last nights pics turned out ok to crop etc. I did go with the colours from the UD BoS III palette that I wanted to try next and am very pleased with how it turned out. I've got a street party to attend today so I'm sure I'll have some sort of make up look for that too!!

First Urban Decay Book of Shadows III FOTD
This morning I didn't have time to apply my make up before I left the house so grabbed my BoS and left the house. I put the make up on once I got to the office. As soon as I saw pictures of the palette I was please to see once again some neutrals with lots of sparkle!!
Not sure if you can see the look or not, I used:
FACE
No.7 Tinted Moisturiser in medium
No.7 Perfect Light Pressed Powder in medium
Rimmel Blusher in Santa Rose
EYES
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Urban Decay BoS III Maui Wowie - lid and under eye
Urban Decay BoS III Smog - outer corner and crease
Urban Decay Glide On eye pencil in Zero
No.7 Exceptional Definition mascara in black
LIPS
No.7 Stay Perfect Lipstick in nude rebellion
Fyrinnae Lip Lustre in bare shoulders
Sephora lip gloss in precious pink
I wanted the look to be quite subtle and I think it worked well. Tomorrow I will try a more daring look, perhaps Uzi, Rockstar and Loaded (absolutely love this peacock shade!)
Do you have any immediate favourites you can't wait to try??

Family FOTD's
I invited my mum and sister over last night to do their make up, and pluck their eyebrows. I had a feeling my new Urban Decay Book of Shadows would have arrived to be able to use on them - and it had! My mum said she didn't want me to use something new on her instead of me, and my sister picked the bright purple from the Alice in Wonderland palette, so my BoS III is still untouched!!
Pictured below is my little sister Carley. On her I used:
No.7 tinted moisturiser in medium
No.7 light pressed powder in medium
Underland from Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette - on the eyelid
Jabberwocky from Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette - on the outer corner
Curiouser from Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette - on the inner corner
No.7 Exceptional Definition mascara in black
Urban Decay 24/7 Eye pencil in Zero on the lower waterline
No.7 Plum Rebellion Stay Perfect Lipstick
Sephora clear/sparkly lipgloss
For my mum I used:
No.7 tinted moisturiser in medium
No.7 light pressed powder in medium
Wonderland from Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette - on the lid
MAC Sumptous Olive eyeshadow - on the outer cornerNo.7 Exceptional Definition mascara in black
Urban Decay 24/7 Eye pencil in Zero on the lower waterline
No.7 Nude Rebellion Stay Perfect lipstick
What do you think? DO you often do your family and friends make up?? Thanks for reading!!

EOTD
I have done a few more FOTD's lately than when I first started, but I think that's due to my new make up that I love having fun with!
Items Used:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Black Cream Eyeshadow - Aromaleigh - all over eyelid
Blue - No.7 Rebellion Eye Palette - all over eyelid
Neon Lights - Aromaleigh - lower waterline
No.7 mini 360 mascara
It was just a quick FOTD hence why it may be a little bit boring, but I really wanted to test the black cream eyeshadow. To see how it worked as a base to darker colours. As you can see it really makes the blue come alive.
Do you use black as a base for any other colours?
